We have moved to a new list-host service and have started publishing an HTML version of both our newsletters. We hope you will find the new format easier to read. Here are some answers to questions you may have about the new service. 1) URLs in the email newsletter will automatically convert to ones beginning with "rs6.net." This is a Constant Contact feature. Feel free to click on them, but of course, never click on any link in any email in order to sign-in to a service - always open your browser and type in the URL yourself if you are logging on (or use your bookmarks/favorites). 2) If you want to unsubscribe, simply click on the "SafeUnsubscribe" link that is found at the bottom of every newsletter email. Please be aware that if you click this link, you will be unsubscribed from BOTH newsletters. If you only want to unsubscribe from one newsletter, click on the "Update Profile/Email Address" link found at the bottom of every email and check the box next to the newsletter you wish to receive, and uncheck the box next to the newsletter you do not want. 3) If you want to make changes to your subscription, such as changing your email address, click on the "Update Profile/Email Address" link at the bottom of every email. 4) If you can't accept HTML emails, and you find the automatically-generated text version hard to read, there is a solution. Change your preferences in Constant Contact to "Text only." Click on the "Update Profile/Email Address" link at the bottom of the email. It will bring you to a page - look on the lower left for: "I would like to receive text only emails" and check that box, then hit Submit (the middle button). 5) If you like to be able to print out the fulltext AuctionBytes-Update newsletter, you can change to "text-only" formatting. This gives you a special text version that contains the fulltext of most articles. However, this means if you subscribe to AuctionBytes Newsflash, you will receive the text version of that as well. We would like to know what you think of the new format. Please post a comment below. Thanks! |
