New Question Answering Search Tool Under Development
The Kansas City Business Journal reports on a new question-answering engine, “that spits back answers to questions coming from two University of Kansas graduates named Lance Bradley and Greg Barry.” A portion of the article lists ”three Kansas City-area technology entrepreneurs, including former GeoAccess Inc. CEO Tom Lauerman, former Raviant Networks Inc. CEO Matt Cullen, and former Nexgenesis LLC CEO Cary Stronach,” who are backing the project.
The name of the service is not listed in the web version of the article but we’ve learned that the parent company is called Inky LLC.
Of course, another question-answering engine lately doing work in IM search, Kozoru and Byoms, is based in metro KC.
