Saturday, 25 October 2008

The First Place winner will have the opportunity to record with Yo-Yo Ma in a special one-on-one

Some Backround:

Yo-Yo recorded the melody of the traditional song, "Dona Nobis Pacem" (Give Us Peace), for users to download on indabamusic.com, and then collaborate with Yo-Yo by adding a counter-melody, or record an entirely new set of variations, and then re-upload and enter into the contest

( You can listen to what current contest participants have already recorded, by clicking on their picture icons, down the left side of the page. Also, for inspiration, we've included a counter-melody recorded by Yo-Yo, as well as a variation from Chris Thile and Edgar Meyer. Check them out in the Source Files section to the right).

My Darlin' Neurons,

Fresh Vegan meat has arrived with a new show.  Dig in on the next page.  Before we get to the good stuff, We are still a long way off from raising the needed $817.00 for licensing fees for
ASCAP/BMI/SESAC. Thanks to you all, we have raised over $144.00 so far. Things are changing slowly with copyright law, and it may be more difficult for you all to hear good music via the Internet in the future unless you can help.  Seriously.  Can you give a little now and ask your friends to give a little later. We really can't do this without you help.  If you can spread the word and help raise those funds I would be eternally grateful. I, RadioMike love you for this and many other reasons.

Update: RadioMike And FB Radio Alive And Kicking
Newsflashes - Newsflash
Written by Mike Perazzetti
Monday, 30 June 2008

My Darlin’ Neurons,

We are still ALIVE, and we are expanding to more shows and more DJs very soon. Please send us an email and show us your love and let us know you are out there.  No one can kill us so easily.

We send out our sincerest apologies for that earlier email, today.  DJ No Alias/ AKA Phil spoke out of turn when he announced THE Last Show.  He has produced HIS LAST show for Fevered Brain Radio.  Now we can move on with the serious business at hand and introduce you all to many more great bands.

Since we have that out of the way, we still are in dire need of funding and donations to reach the $817.00 that we so desperately need.  Look at yourselves and what we’ve done for you all in over 7 years and think what great music we have brought you.  Donate as little or as much as you can right now.  We will appreciate every little penny.

And go ahead and listen to our latest interview with The Bosch, just to prove that we are still here for you all for the long haul.

We Love You All.

Thank You And Bless You For Everything,

Mike
